I-Search Reflection

First thing to say about this research project is that I found it very amusing and it was actually something that really interested me. I was not expecting to find a whole lot about my major that I didn't already know about, however this project gave me a reason to go more in depth and I actually found out way more than I would have ever thought was there. Another idea I found useful during this project was the fact that I had so many different resources that benefit me whether that's about my major and classes for the future or even something else that is interesting like an entire library that is online.

Not only did the research project allow me to find out a ton of resources for my own research, use, and potential growth, but it also helped me pick up and improve on some essential skills. This project made me have to set up a meeting or an interview with an instructor or faculty to gather more information. This allowed me to practice my social skills as well as having meeting with another person. Finally, thinking back on earlier in the semester both my FYS and English class had lessons on the process of learning and turning our thoughts into deeper learning and critical thinking. That's essentially what I did in the process of doing this project, I learned more about my own major by doing some deeper thinking and some deeper learning. My process of learning will keep improving and becoming more second hand nature by using this deeper level of thinking more often.
